China's photovoltaic module exports remain robust, with a solid dominant position in the global market.

Since the beginning of this year, China's photovoltaic (PV) module exports have maintained a brilliant growth momentum, with both shipment volume and value operating at a high level. Driven by the global energy transition wave, the international market's demand for clean energy equipment continues to be released. Leveraging its mature industrial chain supporting facilities, continuously improving technological innovation capabilities, and competitive product cost-performance ratio, China's PV manufacturing enterprises have successfully seized this historic opportunity, further consolidating their position as core suppliers in the global solar energy market.

From a regional market perspective, driven by the energy independence strategy, the European market's import demand for Chinese modules remains strong. The renewable energy installation targets set by the EU's "RepowerEU" plan, as well as the policy support from various member states for rooftop PV and large-scale ground-mounted power plants, have provided sustained impetus for imports. In the American market, Latin American countries such as Brazil and Chile have witnessed significant growth in imports due to their superior solar resource conditions and proactive renewable energy policies; despite fluctuations in U.S. trade policies, Chinese manufacturers have effectively met part of the demand through overseas production capacity deployed in Southeast Asia and other regions. Meanwhile, the accelerated bidding for large-scale PV projects in the Middle East (such as Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates), the growth of infrastructure construction and off-grid demand in Africa, and the recovery of procurement in the Indian market have jointly formed diversified export growth drivers, significantly reducing the risks posed by fluctuations in a single market.

Technological innovation is a key factor supporting export competitiveness. The rapid industrialization and capacity release of N-type high-efficiency battery technologies (such as TOPCon and HJT) have enabled continuous improvements in the conversion efficiency and power generation performance of Chinese module products, better meeting overseas customers' demand for high-power and high-reliability products. The widespread application of bifacial modules, large-size silicon wafers, and supporting solutions for smart tracking brackets has effectively reduced the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) of PV power plants and enhanced the comprehensive attractiveness of Chinese products. In addition, Chinese enterprises' active adaptation in terms of product lifecycle management and carbon footprint certification has also positively responded to the increasingly stringent environmental and sustainability standards in the international market.

Of course, challenges also exist. Policy uncertainties in the international trade environment, efforts by some countries and regions to build local supply chains, fluctuations in international logistics costs, and cyclical changes in raw material prices all affect the stability of exports. However, after years of development, China's PV industry has demonstrated strong resilience and adaptability. Leading enterprises are actively building the ability to navigate cycles by deepening global layout (such as investing in factories in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, etc.), increasing R&D investment to maintain technological generational advantages, optimizing supply chain management, and providing value-added services covering financing, construction, and operation and maintenance.

Looking ahead, the global determination to address climate change and the general trend of clean energy structure transformation remain unchanged, and PV's status as a major energy source has become increasingly prominent. The comprehensive advantages accumulated by China's PV manufacturing industry in scale, technology, cost, and services have laid a solid foundation for it to maintain significant influence in the global market. Continuous technological iteration, flexible global strategies, and adherence to quality and credibility will be the core supports for China's module exports to achieve steady and long-term development and consolidate its global market position.
